About Us
While many people are active in the Lakewood community without officially joining the church, there are several ways in which persons may unite with this church family.
A person may
transfer their membership from another church tradition, joining by a "reaffirmation of faith."
affiliate with this church is by making a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and being baptized by immersion
associate or “dual” membership for those who are attending a college or university and want to make Lakewood their "home" church away from home or who may want to maintain a relationship with another church for family or personal reasons
Regardless of one's membership "category," all members of the church enjoy the same privileges and responsibilities as we seek to grow in the likeness of Christ, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
